Barack Obama left office in 2017 and immediately began working to undermine Donald Trump’s presidency.
But now Obama is working to save Nancy Pelosi’s failing political career as well.
And what Obama just did for Pelosi will leave Trump supporters across the country outraged.
Barack Obama has worked tirelessly to undermine President Donald Trump’s tenure in office.
Despite leaving the Oval Office in January 2017, the former President hasn’t left politics.
In fact, he’s now working behind the scenes now more than ever to help Democrats destroy the President in the 2020 elections.
And Obama’s prime target is working to make sure that Democrats win both Houses of Congress next year so they can ram through more radical pieces of the far-left’s agenda that proved to be unable to make it to Obama’s desk during his own years in office.
USA Today reports, “Former President Barack Obama announced a new initiative to combat partisan redistricting on Monday, an issue that he says he has made a priority from his ‘2008 campaign until now.’”
Obama made it blatantly clear that he wants to redraw legislative maps in Democrats’ favor.
And yet he claims that he wants to undo gerrymandering, simply because he wants to draw maps that will elect more Democrats.
“The movement for fair maps will determine the course of progress on every issue we care about for the next decade. And we can’t wait to begin organizing when the redistricting process starts in 2021. We need to build this movement from the ground up – right now,” Obama stated on a website promoting his new group.
This is a blatant political power grab of epic proportions.
And Obama isn’t even trying to hide this fact any longer.
He knows that if Democrats can gerrymander enough state legislative maps in the 2020 census, that they’ll build themselves a majority in Congress that can’t be touched for at least 10 years.
And if that happens, Democrats will have an easier chance of having complete control of the federal government for the first time since 2009, which will allow for a potential future Democratic President to pass almost anything they want through Congress.
“The All On The Line campaign began after Organizing for Action, an Obama political organization, merged with his former Attorney General Eric Holder’s group, the National Redistricting Action Fund. The merged organization, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee (NDRC), launched the All On The Line campaign,” adds USA Today.
For Obama, this is perhaps the best thing he can do if he hopes to defeat Trump in 2020 and build a Democratic majority in Washington to push through far-left agenda items that didn’t quite make it to his desk while he was in office.
“Despite growing concern about partisan redistricting among Democrats and progressives — including at the highest echelons of the Democratic Party with the likes of Obama and Holder — the Supreme Court ruled in late June that partisan election maps are constitutional despite their one-sided nature,” concludes USA Today.
