Dr. Anthony Fauci’s actions and statements during the coronavirus pandemic are coming under intense scrutiny.
Fauci is not handling the attention well.
And Dr. Fauci broke out into panic when confronted with this indictment threat.
Republicans such as Texas Senator Ted Cruz believe the government should prosecute Dr. Fauci for lying to Congress.
Dr. Fauci flat-out lied to Congress.
Yet Merrick Garland and the Biden DOJ won’t prosecute. #JusticeCorrupted https://t.co/ZI4PFOs9iC pic.twitter.com/nH3YU9mBPQ

Elon Musk tweeted out that his pronouns are “Prosecute/Fauci.”
Jim Acosta — the poster child for everything wrong with CNN — asked Dr. Fauci about his reaction to calls for the government to throw him in jail.
Dr. Fauci flew off the handle during a wild tirade where he accused Republicans of being mentally ill while also failing to address the substance of the matter that Senator Cruz and other Republicans believe Fauci perjured himself during congressional testimony.
“Well, I mean, there’s no response to that craziness, Jim,” Dr. Fauci responded. “I mean, prosecute me for what? What are they talking about? I mean, I wish I could figure out what the heck they were talking about.”
“I think they’re just going off the deep end. That’s the answer to your first question,” Dr. Fauci added. “It doesn’t make any sense to say something like that, and it actually is irresponsible.”
Dr. Fauci falsely claimed in congressional testimony that the National Institutes of Health never funded gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
In fact, the NIH laundered a $600,000 grant to the Wuhan lab through EcoHealth Alliance.
In a 2021 letter to congressional Republicans NIH official Lawrence Tabak admitted the NIH funded gain-of-function research in Wuhan.
National Review reports:
Lawrence A. Tabak of the NIH cites a “limited experiment” that was conducted to test if “spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.” The laboratory mice infected with the modified bat virus “became sicker” than those infected with the unmodified bat virus.
Experts like Rutgers University Professor of Chemical Biology Dr. Richard Ebright also contend that the NIH funded gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
Dr. Ebright went so far as to call Fauci’s testimony “untruthful.”
“The documents make it clear that assertions by the NIH director, Francis Collins, and the NIAID director, Anthony Fauci, that the NIH did not support gain-of-function research or potential pandemic pathogen enhancement in Wuhan are untruthful,” Dr. Ebright stated.
Fauci resorted to the new left-wing tactic of claiming anyone trying to hold them accountable for their failures and falsehoods is putting them in danger or threatening their lives.
Dr. Fauci ranted to Acosta:
Of course, it’s going to have a difficult effect and a deleterious effect on my family. I mean, they don’t like to have me getting death threats all the time.
Every time somebody gets up and spouts some nonsense that’s misinformation, disinformation, and outright lies, somebody somewhere decides they want to do harm to me and or my family.
So that’s the part about it that is really unfortunate. The rest of it is just insanity, the things they’re saying.
But it does have a negative effect when people take it seriously and take it out on you and your family, which is the reason why I still have to have protection, which is really unfortunate.
Fauci does not want anyone studying the lab leak theory or the NIH funding gain-of-function research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology because that would naturally place a large chunk of the blame for the pandemic at Dr. Fauci and the NIH’s feet.
